Little Giggles Room
“WHERE LEARNING IS CHILD’S PLAY“
Our Little Giggles room at Willow House Childcare Sandyford Central is a welcoming space for curious, busy toddlers who are beginning to do more for themselves.
At this stage, children have plenty of ideas and a growing interest in the world around them. We encourage them to explore, make choices and try new things, with our team nearby to offer reassurance and support.
Stories, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, sensory activities and imaginative play give children opportunities to express themselves and discover what they enjoy. We make time to listen and talk with them, helping their language and communication skills develop through everyday conversations.
Familiar routines help children feel secure throughout the day. Through play and shared activities, we gently encourage them to take turns, build friendships and enjoy being part of a group. Outdoor play provides time for fresh air, movement and exploration.

Room Facilities
Our Little Giggles room is bright and colourful, with different spaces for busy play and quieter moments.
A cosy reading corner with cushions, soft toys and a selection of books gives children somewhere to enjoy a story or take a little break. The play kitchen, dolls and small-world toys encourage imaginative play, while child-sized tables provide space for creative activities and playing together.
Low shelves keep toys and materials within easy reach, encouraging children to make choices and explore their interests. Our team is close by to offer support as they learn to do more for themselves.
