Little Steps Room
“LITTLE STEPS TO GIANT LEAPS”
Our Little Steps room at Willow House Childcare Sandyford Central welcomes little ones who are finding their feet and discovering the world around them.
At this stage, every day brings something new. Our caring team offers reassurance and encouragement as children explore, practise new skills and begin to do things for themselves. We work closely with parents to understand their routines and help them feel settled and secure.
Through songs, stories, sensory play and simple hands-on activities, we support early communication, coordination and curiosity. Children have space to move and explore, alongside quieter moments to enjoy a book or rest.
We follow each child’s pace, celebrating the little achievements that mean so much during these early years.

Room Facilities
Our bright Little Steps room has spaces for active play, discovery and quiet time.
Soft play steps and slopes give children opportunities to practise movement and balance, while activity panels and hands-on toys invite them to explore. Low shelves make toys easy to reach, and child-sized tables provide space for puzzles and simple creative activities.
A cosy book area with cushions and soft toys offers somewhere to slow down and share a story. Large windows bring in natural light and look out onto the outdoor play area.
Familiar routines help children feel comfortable throughout the day, with time for play, meals and rest.
